     I studied and took acupressure classes. I studied chiropractic. I have also studied psychological issues related to pain and medical issues. And I am also a Reiki master.


      So now that you have a bit more of my background and what fuels my writing ... let's move on to the actual content.

      I have found that 4 important things play an important role in the health of your spine.

     First of all, there is the posture. I know it's not the first time you've heard this, but it has to be said over and over again.

     The posture should be noted while sitting, standing and sleeping. Start listening of your posture in the least times. If it is not straight, start fixing it.


      If you sleep in a position like me in the past with both hands under the pillow as you lie on your side, you may pinch a nerve in your neck if your rising arm shoulder begins to relax and bends your head. or the neck. It would be best to rest the arm of your upper hand on your leg while one hand is under your pillow.


      And if you can, buy a few pillows of different thickness for the night. I don't know about you, but I can't have a big, soft pillow when I'm lying on my back. But a thin pillow hurts my neck when I lie on my side.

     The second thing on our list is that the flexibility of your back.

     What you want to do when you notice that your back is protruding a lot and your nerves are pinched is to put your spine back in alignment and make it flexible.



   

     Of course, if you think a chiropractor is your best bet, look for one. But think about your progress if you could line up when you needed to. It’s not that difficult!

If you are in pain now, put ice or heat on the spot until the pain seems to decrease.

NEVER, under any circumstances, exercise when any of your nerves are inflamed or swollen!


      To make your back more flexible, you may want to learn kundalini yoga. Not all styles of yoga are like the ones you might have seen on TV, where they twist. Kundalini yoga has some very good and useful spinal exercises developed to help with flexibility. Kundalini Yoga is additionally a spiritual tool to assist before meditation.


      It is vital to strengthen your back and therefore the surrounding muscles. This is the third step towards a healthy back.

One of these exercises is sit-ups. You don't have to do a lot of crunches until you feel you can… step by step.


      Take all of these things slowly and on time with your body. Your body will let you know how it feels. Pain is a warning sign. Remember, taking pain relievers is okay when you really need them.       Each person is unique in many areas. So never assume that what worked for someone else will work for you. You may need to lean on someone else's information and incorporate it into your own personal program.


     I also recommend that you learn a little more about acupressure to ease your pain when it breaks out.


     I have found that I can manage pain using acupressure, simply by putting pressure on certain areas of the body. But this is something I suggest you seek professional help, or find someone who does acupuncture, or take an acupressure class like I did.
